Dental Assisting Technology & Management - ATD
Students are trained in subject areas such as dental terminology, ethics and jurisprudence, pharmacology and anesthesia, dental anatomy and physiology, dental laboratory procedures and equipment, instruments and materials, dental radiography, aseptic techniques, preventive dentistry, dental chairside assisting and expanded functions, and office management.

Students are prepared to become capable laboratory technicians who work in many areas of the medical laboratory, including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, urinalysis and blood bank. The program includes an internship in an approved laboratory facility.

Students learn to install, maintain, and troubleshoot plumbing systems; utilize work-related modules that closely simulate the job conditions. Students study plumbing codes, using tools safely and properly, residential/commercial new construction, water conditioning, backflow prevention, isometric drawings, water-heating and plumbing repairs.

Professional Culinary Arts & Hospitality
Training in our program covers the broad field of institutional, hotel and restaurant production of hot and cold food. Dining services, soups and sauces, salads and sandwiches, breads and desserts, and breakfast cookery are emphasized through “hands on” instruction. Menu preparation and management practices are also taught in this program.

The Surgical Technology program is designed to prepare students to function as members of the surgical team under the supervision and responsibility of the operating room supervisor. Surgical Technologists assist the surgeon and nurses at the operating table by preparing supplies and equipment for use in surgery.
