Policies

• The Media Center is open daily for students to exchange books - so they always have something fresh to read!
• Students can check out books for up to 2 weeks.  
  • Head Start - 1st Grade students check out 1 book at a time.
  • 2nd - 5th Grade students check out 2 books at a time.
• Books can be renewed for an additional 2 weeks.
• A fee is charged for each lost or damaged book:  Paperback $5.00/Hardback $10.00
   

Health & Safety Procedures

• When students come to the Media Center for self-check, they should be in groups no larger than 4 students.
• Students will sanitize their hands upon entering and exiting the Media Center.

• About Your Library Media Specialist

Hi - I'm Ms. Ross the media specialist at Wilson Elementary. I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor's degree in Literature and a Master's degree in Information Science. I started as a media specialist in Hillsborough County Schools in 2004. I love being the librarian at Wilson and interacting with all of our students on a daily basis!
