Dr. Tarrelle Brooks
Dr. Tarrelle Brooks is a homegrown country boy from Crystal River, Florida growing up in a neighborhood called "The Backwoods."
Dr. Brooks received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida. Teaching out-of-field, Dr. Brooks began as an Emotionally Handicapped VE Resource Teacher at Seminole Heights Elementary in 2000. Dr. Brooks was promoted to ESE Specialist in 2005, transferring to Sulphur Springs Elementary School.
While working as an ESE Specialist, he earned his Master's Degree in Education Administration from National University. Dr. Brooks has been an instructional leader in a diverse population of instructional settings, such as Clark Elementary, Muller Magnet, Potter Elementary, North Tampa Alternative (grades 6-11) and Assistant Principal at Carver Exceptional Center (grades 6-12). Dr. Brooks has experience working with all students in grades K thru 12.
Dr. Brooks later received his Educational Doctorate degree in Pastoral Community Counseling from Argosy University. In July, 2019, he was appointed Assistant Principal here at Burnett Middle School--Go Wolves.
He is the devoted husband of Letitia & father of two daughters (JeMiah, Tia) and one son (Tyre'). Most of his time is well spent laughing, singing, eating, baking, attending church, song & book writing, watching Netflix and traveling. Dr. Brooks is also a licensed Pastoral Counselor.
