Academy of Finance & Entrepreneurship

  • Our academy track not only focuses on finance and entrepreneurship but also focuses on business and technology. The student has the right to join the academy during their career at Armwood. In order to become an Academy graduate, the student must complete the following:

    ☐  Students are required to take DIT and Personal Finance. (NAF requirement)

    ☐  Students can take other selected electives to fill the remaining slot offered. (NAF Allowed)

    ☐  Students in the Collegiate Academy can choose alternative DE or AP courses to fill the remaining spot. (NAF allowed)

    ☐  Students must earn an industry certificate. (Hillsborough County requirement)

    ☐  Students must take the Financial Internship or OJT requirement to fulfill the coursework. (State of Florida requirement, can replace the middle elective spot but must work over the summer and take the Finance OJT class).

    ☐ Completing the Finance State track allows you to apply for the Gregory Scholarship valued at up to $20,000.
