We are SO happy you’re here! The PTA is a great way to get involved with our school community. Below are some steps on how you can get started.

1. Register on MemberHub
   • By registering on this site, you’ll gain access to our Spirit Wear Shop, volunteering opportunities, and important communications on Fundraising Events and Programs going on at Summerfield Elementary!
2. Join PTA
   • Membership dues are just $5 for the 2023-2024 school year. Money raised helps fund special projects for students and teachers at our school.
3. Stay Informed
   • Visit the PTA's website and remember to “Follow” us on Summerfield Elementary’s Facebook page to stay up to date on all the latest news!
4. Sign Up to Volunteer
   • We need YOU! The PTA offers many great volunteering opportunities throughout the school year...opportunities to serve at the school or from the comfort of your own home! Complete this survey or Contact the PTA to sign-up for volunteer opportunities.  
5. Say Y.E.S., Volunteer approved. 
   • If volunteering takes you beyond the front doors of Summerfield Elementary, you will need a background check. This is done once per school year through the HCPS Say Y.E.S. program. Click here to complete the HCPS Say Y.E.S. process. Approvals can take several days, so be sure to register at least one week before the date of your first volunteer opportunity. You must be approved by the district to join your child on any field trip.
