Eli Taliafero is a highly accomplished coach with a proven track record of developing athletes and building successful programs. As the new Head Coach of the Morgan Mustangs Flag Football program, he brings a wealth of experience, a passion for player development, and a commitment to excellence that will propel the Mustangs to long term success. 

Eli’s coaching journey includes serving as the Head Coach of the University of South Florida Women’s Flag Football Club Team. Under his leadership, the team achieved competitive success while fostering a culture of discipline, teamwork, and personal growth. His ability to develop athletes both on and off the field has been a hallmark of his coaching philosophy. 

As a Talent ID Coach for Team USA, Eli evaluated and developed elite athletes for international competition. Additionally, his role as Athletic Director for NFL Flag of Tampa Bay allowed him to oversee a youth flag football league serving hundreds of athletes. His expertise in identifying and nurturing talent has been instrumental in shaping the next generation of flag football stars.

Eli’s experience as a Flag Football Development Coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers further solidified his reputation as a leader in the sport. In this role, he spearheaded youth clinics across Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties, impacting thousands of athletes and enhancing community engagement. His work with the Buccaneers not only grew participation in flag football but also provided young athletes with the tools to succeed both on and off the field.
