Head Start
Head Start is a federally funded, comprehensive, child development program that encompasses all aspects of a child's development and learning. Head Start serves children ages 3 to 5 years old.

Primary Exceptional Education Preschool Services (PEEPS)
Services for prekindergarten for children with developmental delays and disabilities are authorized by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Children ages three to five who meet eligibility requirements can receive services designed to meet each child's individual needs.

Voluntary Prekindergarten
Florida's Voluntary Prekindergarten Program (VPK) was implemented with the goal of providing all of Florida's four-year-olds with access to free, quality prekindergarten programs.

Hillsborough County Public Schools offers a full day, academic program for children who meet the age requirement of five years of age by September 1.
