The theatre experience in Hillsborough County’s middle schools provide opportunities to explore, research, design, perform and apply theatre concepts to other aspects of academic and personal life.

Grades 9-12
The theatre experience in Hillsborough County’s high schools provide both introductory opportunities for students interested in basic level theatre concepts and practices as well as more mastery level application for advanced students. Whether introductory or advanced, theatre concepts and skills build on academic and personal connections, leading to ultimate student growth. Semester and annual courses range from an introduction to drama to theatre history, acting, technical design and musical theatre. Key components, regardless of specific focus are the importance of collaboration and personal reflection within Social Emotional Learning.
