• The Migrant Education Program helps migrant students meet academic standards and earn a high school diploma (or GED) for citizenship, further education, and employment.

The Title I, Part C-Migrant Education Program (MEP) funds additional educational programs for migrant children (ages 3-21).
Migrant students usually represent a small fraction of the student population. The MEP ensures they do not encounter extra educational challenges nationwide due to varying academic standards. The program fosters coordination of support services, including prompt record transfers.
