This timeline outlines the annual process that Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) follows to coordinate and deliver Title I services for eligible nonprofit private schools.

January – Initial Contact
HCPS sends the first notification via email to all private schools listed in Hillsborough County.

Emails are sent to the addresses provided on the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) private school directory. Schools are responsible for ensuring their contact information is up to date.

February – Parade of Titles & Initial Consultation
HCPS hosts the Parade of Titles Meeting, an overview of all available federal programs.
Private schools receive:

• A detailed explanation of program options
• An overview of eligibility criteria
• A consultation opportunity to discuss school-specific needs and determine program interest

March – Intent to Participate & Student Roster Submission
Private schools submit their Intent to Participate Form via an online survey to indicate interest in federal programs.

Spring – Title I Consultation
Participating schools engage in a formal consultation with HCPS to:

• Review the current year’s Title I services
• Evaluate compliance documentation
• Complete or revise the Service Delivery Plan

April – August – Service Delivery Plan
HCPS works closely with each school to:
